Use this OMRI Listed, all-purpose in-ground soil to plant individual plants or amend existing garden beds.

How to Use
- Spread a 3-inch layer of Miracle-Gro® Performance Organics™ All Purpose In-Ground Soil on the ground.
- Mix the organic soil into the top 6-inches of the native soil.
- Dig a hole and plant your new plant.
- Apply mulch (optional).

Frequently Asked Questions
Is all purpose garden soil the same as topsoil?
Garden soil can be used as a topsoil, but they are technically different types of soil. Topsoil and garden soil both improve soil texture and drainage and also add nutrients to native soil. Garden soil, however, is specifically designed for plants such as flowers and vegetables, whereas topsoil is generally all purpose for lawns and landscaping and may not provide everything plants needs to thrive.
I found mold in my soil bag. Can I still use it?
If you find mold in your Miracle-Gro® Performance Organics® Raised Bed Mix, don't panic. Mold spores are naturally present in composted soils rich in organic matter. These spores thrive under moist conditions inside bags, helping decompose organic material and enrich soil. Mold and fungus are natural components in healthy soil, and can contribute to a thriving garden.

Best Soil!!
This hands down is the best soil I have added to my gardens in the last 15yrs. One tomato plant created a bounty large enough to share with others though summer and now into the fall. Would highly recommend - despite the slightly high cost.

We’ve bought seven of the organic in ground bags this spring and two last fall. I’ve had great results with this product. I used it on the patches of grass in our front yard that are distressed from water run off and grass that didn’t come back after the cold months. We filled the areas with this soul and patched it down and the rest we laid grass seed and this soil on top. Most people use sand, but we used this product. Our neighbor used sand two days before we laid this soil on our lawn. My grass has already filled the gaping holes 18” x14” spot now. My neighbor still have just sand in his spots. It has been just phenomenal in getting great results. soil was moist, no weeds, no critters, or snack papers. I’m totally satisfied with this soil for replacing washed away topsoil and regrowing grass/seeds. In fact the spots look so good now OTHER spots need the treatment because now they look rough! Ha! More work! I truly don’t know why you don’t promote this as a lawn product too. I wouldn’t see it viable for a large (total yard) source, but for those spots needed it is a dream to use! Thanks for a quality product!

Using in my Earthboxes
I am super impressed...was mad that Miracle Grow for not producing much of their old Organic Potting Mix that I have used for years in my 10 Earthboxes. This was a little more expensive but now that Ive seen the results with my Tomatoes, Peppers and Cucumbers, and fig tree. Im not mad at em, superior product Pictures below

Easy to fill & grow
I love that this soil already has the fertilizer in it! I just put the soil and then vegetable plants and water! So nice not to worry about feeding my new plants. If only the soil was self-watering :) haha - I received a free product to test and review.

My Garden loves this
I used this organic soil on the new plants that I planted in my garden and the plants are growing well. I can't wait to see the wonderful fruits and vegetables that are a result of the soil. I have used other soils in the past without similar results.

Very Pleased
Really like this product. Not too heavy and super clean. I have purchased in the past other garden soil full of all kinds of foreign objects. I used this for replanting my a variety of garden plants and I am now trying to germinate fox tail seeds. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
