Description
Miracle-Gro® Expand 'n Gro® Concentrated Planting Mix is a great substitute for potting mix or garden soil as it can be used in-ground or in containers. The compressed coir with plant food expands up to 3X when water is added and feeds plants for up to 6 months. It holds up to 50% more water than basic potting soil and creates up to 90% more air giving your plant's roots all the room they need to thrive.

Loved the small packaging but large impact!
I used this on my strawberry plants and they are thriving! I was so surprised in how it retains the moisture and how it makes it easier to water. I’m always pleased with Miracle Grow products and this doesn’t disappoint.

Another great product from MiracleGro! Now concentrated and expanding which reduces watering frequency allowing more time to sit back and enjoy! Especially helpful with the protracted drought and extreme temperatures we are experiencing.

Very light weight
I was able to lift and carry this product was no problem I added water in a bowl rather than in the pot and was able to mix it very easily. It ended up looking and feeling like regular potting mix are used this mixture in the ground and in an indoor house plant mix. It stayed moist in the house for over a week before I felt the need to water it which was very nice. The pot that I used outside for this mix was easy to use around my plant so far is Planting it and the soil stayed moist for about three days again that was a very nice thing to have

Mix truly expands
I used the product to transplant seedlings into pots. Soil expands quite a bit when watered and holds moisture well. See pictures of transplanted marigold with Expand n Gro mix before and after watering.

Healthy Plants
I was sent this product to try and used it to plant ang grow a pineapple cutting. It filled my large decorative planter perfectly. Usually, when I plant a pineapple cutting in other potting mix, it looks like it is dying for some time until the roots grab hold and can pull the nutrients from the soil. With this product, I plated my cutting and from day one it looked healthy and over a week later it still looks healthy. I would recommend this product.

Love the concentrated planting mix
Received a sample of the Miracle-Gro Expand 'n Gro Concentrated Planting Mix, and loved the product. I had three one gallon drift roses to plant in my clay rich, Texas soil. One bag had enough product to plant all three roses with a little potting mix in the hole, and on top. The mix helped a lot with ensuring the roses got a good start with the right amount of moisture in the Texas Summer heat (100 degree temp afternoons).

Expand 'n Gro Easy to Use
The product has clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Lightweight, the product can be carried easily to the planting location. In my case, it was to the patio where I mixed the concentrate with water in a large bucket. The end result was an ample supply of soil for use in two containers - even a bit leftover for another application. I might add that it now appears the plants are thriving. I am quite pleased with the product and will look for it in the future. (Sorry I don't have a better photo; it was raining the day I was asked to write a review.)

Great product
This product is very easy to use. My plants seem to be doing ok so far. I transplanted an ivy and it has shown no bad effects of being transplanted. The product is not as messy as other products I have used.

Great Advancement for small homes.
Received the Miracle Grow concentrated planting mix and it is great. Doesn’t take up my limited space for storing in a small garage.
Proof is in the plants though and the flowers are beautiful. Looks like I got them from a high end nursery with the blooms they are producing. Really like the product and will definitely be getting more as soon as I can figure out where to put more plants.

Great growth
Used for our garden and had great results! Saw quick growth and much faster then the products we were using before. It is a little pricey but I think we’ll worth it if used properly, I would recommend!

Thanks for saving my tomatos
After experiencing a late frost my tomato plants took a hit. They survived but that is all I could say about them. I decided to add in some of this product to my current soil. About a week later I left on vacation. Upon my return I thought someone had removed my plants and replanted some big healthy tomato plants. Wow is all I can say about my plants now. We have been enjoying tomatoes ever since.

Great product
Last fall I brought in my Ivy Geranium and let it go dormant. This spring I decided to plant it in my flower bed using Miracle Gro Expand'nGro. It had very few leaves and no blooms when planted. Now it is thriving! Since that plant did so well I decided to try another. I bought a potted New Guinea Impatient from a grocery store that was late season on sale. I planted it in clay soil and mixed in the Expand 'nGro. It broke up the clay soil and made a great bed for my plant. Now it is also giving me some beautiful flowers. I included pictures of both. I have plenty of Expand 'nGro left, since a little goes a long way, and plan to do some pots for my deck. Much easier than buying a heavy bag of soil and having to add peat moss and perlite. I do recommend this product!

Hold moisture well
We have finally finished potting plants this year and have used this product to complement the potting soil. This really expands and holds the moisture well to lessen watering needs. It states lighter soil for a stronger garden, but I found it to be quite heavy due to the water being held in the pot. Our hanging basket now bends the metal hangar where this was not true in the past. We'll see how well the flowers do this year with this interesting soil.

This product is great!!!!
Just used this product during some recent warm weather and are already seeing great results. I live in Ohio where the weather is constantly changing and we just had a few 60 degree days and a 70 degree day. The soil is really easy to put down and I already have growth. I would recommend this product for anyone who is tired of lugging around 40lb bags of potting soil. It's super light and super easy to use.

Great Product
This is a great product. I tried it in some indoor plants I have because I can't use it outside right now because on winter but when it becomes warm I will for sure use this for my potted plants. It does everything that it is suppose to do it expands really nice and is cool to watch. Also I got this product for free to review and test out and all of my words are mine.

Love it
Repotted (2) plants that I recently bought and I absolutely love this soil. It expands when you water it and does not make your pots heavy. I have several large plants that I put out on my patio for the summer. They are very heavy with the current soil. I will be replacing their soil this this mix this spring.

First time
I used it on a few plants and they did fine. One plant did die, but I don't think it was because of your product. The others are doing great. The others are big and have bloomed. The flower bed is large one. Hope I didn't use too much one the one that died.
