DESCRIPTION
Help prevent over-and under-watering of plants with Miracle-Gro® Water Storing Crystals. Ideal for indoor and outdoor plants, the crystals reduce water stress in plants to help protect them from heat and drought. Simply mix with soil to reduce the amount of watering needed; then when you do water plants, crystals will swell to absorb the water. Your plants will receive the right amount of water they need to thrive.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
New Container Plantings:
- Fill container with potting soil, leaving 2-3"" from top of container.
- Mix Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals thoroughly into the soil.
- Place plant on soil and fill with potting soil, leaving 1"" from top of container.
- Water plants thoroughly
Existing Containers:
- Make several holes in soil (with stick or pencil) evenly spaced around plant. Avoid root area.
- Incorporate Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals evenly among holes.
- Cover holes with soil and water thoroughly.
In Ground:
- Work Miracle-Gro® Water Storing Crystals evenly into soil throughout the root zone at a rate of 7 tsp per 6-foot row.

Makes gardening so much easier
I've been using this product for several years. I live in the Caribbean where although regular rainfall keeps everything lush, plants suffer during a drought period when the sun quickly dries everything up. Water is a precious commodity, conservation is essential. These crystals go a LONG way in ensuring that my plants have backup during dry spells and alleviate the necessity of prolonged watering.

Love, love love it!
I just found out about this product last year and tried it out. I was so impressed at how well it kept the soil moist. Now this is a must have every spring when I plant my flowers. Works wonderful on hanging baskets and potted plants. It only takes a little bit so the bag lasts a long time.
