Description
Grow lush flowering plants in your garden! Miracle-Gro® Shake 'N Feed® Flowering Trees & Shrubs Plant Food feeds plants for 3 months, and nourishes above and below the soil. This plant food has been formulated with kelp, earthworm castings, feather meal, and bone meal to feed microbes in the soil. Microbes break down organic matter into nutrients that support root strength and development which increases water efficiency. In addition, this gardening product is specifically designed for flowering trees, shrubs, and other acid-loving plants to maintain deep, lush green foliage and colorful blooms throughout the season. To apply to in-ground plants, shake evenly onto the soil within the spread of the branches, avoiding contact with the trunk and foliage. Water thoroughly to start feeding. For container plants, work into the soil at the time of planting, or shake evenly onto the soil of established plants and lightly work in. Water to begin feeding. For best results, reapply Miracle-Gro® Shake 'N Feed® Flowering Trees & Shrubs Plant Food every 3 months.
Step by Step Instructions
How to Use
- Apply dry, do not pre-mix with water. Do not apply to wet foliage or pile against plant stem.
In Ground
- Shake evenly onto the soil, within the spread of the branches (drip line), careful to avoid contact with the trunk and foliage. Water thoroughly to start feeding.
- For 2 ft. diameter drip line use 2 1/2 tps.; for 4 ft. diameter drip line use 3 tbsp.; for 6 ft. diameter drip line use 7 tbsp.; 8 ft. and up use 3/4 cup.
In Containers
Mix into soil at time of planting. For established plants, shake evenly into soil and lightly work in. Water to start feeding.
- 10’’ diameter of drip line use 1 ¼ tsp.; 12’’ diameter of drip line use 1 ½ tbsp..; 14’’ diameter of drip line use 2 tbsp.

- For use around flowering trees and shrubs.
When to Apply
- For best results, feed in early spring as new leaves emerge and again in late summer. Applying too late in the season may cause an undesirable flush of growth that can be sensitive to frost.

Great Product
This product makes my trees and shrubs look amazing! I would just suggest to sell
it in a shaker container with a pour/shaker lid for easier use than in a bag.

Truly amazing!
I live in northern Michigan with very poor soil conditions (by a lake and very sandy). I used this around my trees, bushes and flowering plants and they all look amazing. While I'm out watering my plants, people will stop while walking by and tell me how beautiful my yard looks. I attribute this to the quality plant food they've been getting. My yard looks like a postcard and I love this product!

Shake'Feed worked very well.
Shake'n Feed worked very well on all of our shrubs,
and in addition it was most effective on our azaleas,which are presently loaded with buds ready to burst into blossoms just as soon as we get a couple of days of sunshine !( Today is May 4;we are in north central OH ).

Easy to use
I really liked the fact that this feed didnt need to be measured out and mixed with water. Last season I bought another brand and took me forever to feed all my trees due to the time it took to measure and mix. This product from Miracle Gro is great! You shake over your trees and shrubs then water in and thats it! I put this down on Good Friday and by the next week all my trees had bloomed and looked beautiful! i will use this again next year!

Great product!
I have used this product in it's all purpose formulation for a couple of year's. This spring I used the product for trees & busheses. I saw a dramatic difference in my flowering bushes after applying the product. It was almost as if they were saying, Thank you, Thank you. I will continue to use it in the future.

Great for acid plants
I've used the Shrub & Tree fertilizer product for years. I especially like it for the shrubs that need some acidity added. All my shrubs look very attractive and healthy. I always trust Scotts products to deliver.
