Do roses do better in pots or in the ground?
Most roses prefer to planted in ground where their roots can grow deep. Some rose varieties, such as miniature or patio roses, do well in containers. Select a tall pot that gives roots room to grow, and use a potting mix, such as Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix, for planting.
How do you prepare the ground for roses?
When it comes to the ground and soil, roses aren't as fussy as you might think. They prefer neutral to slightly acidic soil, and they need a soil that drains well but not too fast so their roots can soak in water. Miracle-Gro® Garden Soil Roses uses Moisture Control® to help prevent over and under watering. Adding fresh soil to the ground helps with compaction and replenishes nutrients. To prepare your garden, simply dig a hole for your rose plant and mix equal parts garden soil roses and native soil.
Why does my soil have mold in it?
If you find mold in your bag of Miracle-Gro® Garden Soil Roses, don't panic. Mold spores are naturally present in soils. These spores thrive under moist conditions inside bags, helping decompose organic material and enrich soil. Mold and fungus are natural components in healthy soil, and can contribute to a thriving garden.

Makes growing roses fun!
I just bought my first bags of MG Rose Soil and I am very impressed with the texture, feel and smell. My roses are very happy after just 2 weeks. I am inspired to plant a new rose bed this year with this product.

GOOD PRODUCT FOR ROSE LOVERS.

Before this product came out many years ago I was starting a rose garden. Planted 23 rose bushes. Prepared the soil like I do for regular plants and mixed Bone Meal in it. They blossoms were spectacular. Winter came and I covered the roots with straw because the forecasters said we were going to have a very harsh early winter. They were right. My favorites roses survived though. Now in Florida I buy a bag of GARDEN SOIL FOR ROSES. Do not have to worry about using to much or to little bone meal. I put them in large pots on the patio so to protect them from the afternoon harsh sun in the Hot season.

This product really made the roses take off!
We used it to plant some yellow roses in our backyard. I had tried before to plant others with different soil and they did not fair nearly as well as with the Miracle-Gro Garden Soil for roses. Miracle-Gro keeps them blooming and looking beautiful all summer long. Will not waste my money in the future on other soil for new rose beds.

Lush Beautiful Flowers
I have some problem areas in my yard, which makes it difficult to grow flowers under normal circumstances. Miracle-Gro Garden Soil allows my roses and my annual flowers to flourish, giving me rich colors and lush foilage throughout the season.
