Do you need top soil for flower beds?
Adding fresh soil to flower beds and gardens helps revitalize the soil by improving texture and drainage and adding nutrients. While garden soil can be used as a topsoil, garden soils are specially formulated to create ideal growing conditions for plants and flowers. Other top soils are general purpose and may not provide the nutrition plants need.
Can I still use my soil if there's mold in the bag?
Yes, you can! Mold spores are naturally present in soils. These spores thrive under moist conditions inside bags, helping decompose organic material and enrich soil. Mold and fungus are natural components in healthy soil, and can contribute to a thriving garden.
Can I use potting soil in my flower beds?
Technically yes, but potting soils and mixes are better for container plants. When working with in-ground plants, it's best to use a garden soil and mix it with native soil to provide the ideal growing environment for your flowers.

Good Product
This soil is for planting plants in your garden - not for planting in raised beds or containers. They have specific soil for that. But as far an all purpose garden soil goes, this product does the trick. I use it most for planting perennials and small flowering shrubs. Remember to mix it in with your native soil at a 50/50 rate. I add it to each planting hole and sprinkle in a little Espoma Bio-tone to enhance rooting, mix it well with the native soil, and plant my plants. It works well for that use.

Excellent product,retaians moisture well
This product controls moisture very well even during hot weather. Plants thrive in the pre - fertilized soil mixture. I have not fertilized my flowers since planted and they are twice as big or more than others on the street. Soil is very rich and has no odor. I will use this soil every year for my flowers and recommend it to family and friends.

Excellent Moisture Control

This is great soil for flowers
I replaced all the soil in my planter on my front porch with miracle grow for flowers. I am very pleased with the results. The Petunias and Geraniums are really flourishing with this soil. I will surely use this on a yearly basis.

Great results
I normally use potting soil for potted plants but decided to use the Miracle Grow Garden Soil this time around. The Miracle Grow Potting Soil has always worked very well. I am very pleased how my flowering plants look with the Garden Soil, they are growing extremely well with lots of flowers and plenty new growth. I would definite recommend this product to use for potted plants as well as a garden.
