DESCRIPTION
Embrace a new way to garden and grow your container plants with Miracle-Gro Organic™ Outdoor Potting Mix. This potting mix contains a quick-release natural fertilizer and also feeds plants for up to 2 months. Made with responsibly sourced peat*, this locally crafted** potting medium also contains upcycled green waste. This gardening product is also OMRI Listed for organic use. Use this organic potting soil with any outdoor container plant, including vegetables, herbs, flowers, annuals, and perennials. To apply, partially fill your pot with potting mix. Loosen the plant's root ball and place in the soil. Add more mix, covering plant roots, and press down lightly. To finish, water the plant thoroughly and let it drain. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted bi-annually with fresh potting soil. This 16 qt. bag of potting mix fills one 12-inch container (amounts may vary based on the size of the root ball). STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
- Fill pot partially full with Miracle-Gro Organic™ Outdoor Potting Mix, leaving enough room for plant
- Loosen your plant's root ball and place it in the pot
- Cover the roots with more mix and press down lightly
- Water thoroughly immediately planting and let drain. One 16 qt. bag fills one 12-inch container.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Watering Tips
- Check soil for moisture levels. Let mix dry to the touch between waterings. Do not allow plants to sit in drainage water. Outdoor plants may require daily watering in hot weather.
Using with Other Products
- Consider starting a regular feeding program with Miracle-Gro® plant food 30 days after planting.

Can I use potting mix for outdoor plants that are in-ground or in raised beds?
Miracle-Gro® has both indoor and outdoor potting mixes to help potted plants in different conditions thrive. Potting mix should not be used with in-ground plants as potting mixes are designed specifically for the needs of container plants. What's the difference between indoor and outdoor potting mix?
Because indoor and outdoor plants live in different environments, they need different potting mixes to help them thrive. Outdoor potting mixes will typically be richer in nutrients and help plants hold more water. Indoor potting mixes will help regulate water so plants don't receive too much or too little.
What are the best plants to grow in pots outdoors?
This can vary depending on where you live, but there are many plants that can thrive in outdoor pots! Consider planting your herbs in pots during warmer months. Geraniums, hydrangeas, and zinnias are a few flowering favorites that grow well in containers. If you live in warmer climates, consider potted succulents or cacti. Working great so far
I used this potting mix to start my tomatoes early this year. They seem to really be taking off and I’ll credit the nutrients in this soil. It will take some time to really know the results but right now it’s working great and I like it.

Great Organic Soil

Plant Nourishment
I loved this potting mix and even went to Lowe’s to buy me another bag to plant my gerber daisies. I use a big planter. The price is great at $7.00. It gives my plants the vitamins and nutrients to grow for at least two months.

Great product for thriving plants
Love this potting mix! We potted a few plants with this mix before leaving on a 2 week trip and came back to beautiful, thriving plants. The local, eco-friendly fertilizer ingredients are a huge bonus knowing your plants are getting the best nutrients to grow.

This product is a great value for the money, made of great quality, easy to use, is environmentally friendly, doesn't have an unpleasant scent or odor & is effective. My only complaint would be about the packaging- it would be better in resealable packaging. But other then that small con, I would highly recommend this product AND this brand!!
