DESCRIPTION
Feed all the plants in your garden with the Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® All Purpose Plant Food Universal Starter Kit. This plant food and feeder set grows plants twice as big!®* In addition, this garden product makes feeding as easy as watering. Use with all types of in-ground or container flowers, vegetables, trees, and shrubs. To apply, attach the Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder to a spigot. Attach your soaker hose, or a garden hose and your preferred applicator: sprinkler or hand sprayer. Insert plant food bottle into the feeder and rotate until bottle is vertical. Turn the knob to FEED and turn on the water to begin feeding. Plants should be fed every 1-2 weeks. Shake well before each use, and only apply the included plant food using a LiquaFeed® feeder. The starter kit comes with one Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder and one 16 oz. bottle of Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® All Purpose Plant Food, which feeds up to 400 sq. ft. of garden area. *vs unfed plants
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
1. Attach LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder to spigot or in-line between two hoses
2. Insert LiquaFeed® refill bottle by removing cap and twisting into LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder
3. Turn on water at spigot and flip the switch to ""Feed"" on the LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder
4. Feed your plants while you water with any device (sprinkler, watering can, soaker hose, watering wand, hand sprayer, garden hose, etc). Feeding times will vary depending on the watering device you use.
5. To clean hose, flip switch back to WATER and run water for 15 seconds per 25 ft. length of hose.

A Great Mystery Has Been Solved!
I was gifted this by some friends who were moving. First off...I read the instructions (very important), and then I hooked it up just as it is pictured above. And guess what? IT WORKS GREAT!! Now a lot of these reviews seem to be complaining about the LiquidGro not dispensing from the bottle. Well, there is a really simple solution to this problem and it doesn't require removing or adding anything to the feeder. When you unscrew the cap you will see the nipple-like stopper that you'll be inserting into the feeder. But before you do, and this is the tricky part, take a toothpick, a wooden skewer, or even a thin stick and insert it into the hole, driving the tiny plug that's in there into the bottle. You now have cleared a pathway for the LiquidGro to flow. And don't worry about the plug because it will stay afloat at the top as the liquid disperses. And THAT is the solution to THE BIG PROBLEM!
I don't work for MiracleGro and receive nothing for this review...just trying to help out. However, if "The Powers That Be" see fit to send me a case of this wonderful product I would be quite pleased. Because this IS a great product and quite frankly, whoever designed this dispenser knew what they were doing.
So quit yer gripin' and get back to watering/feeding your plants with that fabulous Liquid MiracleGro...

Simple, easy and effectiv
I've been using Liquafeed for quite a while. 5 years at least. I use at least 20 bottles of feed per season. This review is based on a good amount of experience.
I use LiquaFeed on all of my plants, but specifically I use it on lots of tropicals and succulents.
My plants are super healthy when I feed them regularly. And...feeding them regularly is really easy using this stuff. Just tonight I went out after dinner and watered/fed all the plants on my patio. It's easy, with no strong chemicals to deal with, no mixing...just screw on the bottle and water for about 15 minutes.
I am still using the original sprayer that I initially bought (over 5 years ago), and I've used it a LOT.
I buy a lot of gardening equipment, and I'm not shy about trying new products. I've tried many other fertilizers (I burnt my lawn this spring using something else) but this truly is my favorite way to feed my plants.

Great Product
I have been using the Miracle-Gro Liquafeed All Purpose Plant Food Advance Starter Kit for awhile now and absolutely love it. So easy to use. Just attach it to your hose and your ready to go. My vegetable plants have doubled in size from using this product.

It works instantly!
I was away for two days and when I returned I watered all my plants with Miracle-Gro® Liquafeed® All Purpose Plant Food. My plants perked up by the time I finished watering my garden. It works wonders fast!

Liquafeed is miraculous!
Miracle Grow products in general were first recommended by my physics instructor in college who said, "It was truly a miracle." Later at the high school where I taught the Ag teacher agreed. When Liquafeed came on the market it simplified everything. I've used it for years with great results.
