Description
Grow and feed your favorite succulents with Miracle-Gro® Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Mix. This succulent and cactus soil mix is enriched with Miracle-Gro® Plant Food and features a fast-draining formula. Get beautiful, colorful results with this mixture of forest products, sphagnum peat moss, sand, and perlite. To use, start with a pot with a drain hole and fill 1/3 full with soil. Place the root ball of your plant in the soil and add more mix. Press lightly; water the plant and let drain. Let the soil dry to the touch between waterings. Do not allow plants to sit in drainage water. Repotting citrus annually to the next larger size container will encourage fruiting. We recommend wearing gardening gloves and washing hands after using this and other garden products. One 8 qt. bag of Miracle-Gro® Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Soil fills two 8-inch containers (amounts may vary based on the size of the root ball).
Step by Step Instructions
1. Select a pot with a drain hole.
2. Fill pot about 1/3 full
3. Loosen root ball, place plant in pot
4. Add more mix; press lightly.
5. Water; let drain.
For spectacular results, start a regular feeding program 30 days after planting with Miracle-Gro® Succulent Plant

“Gorgeous Results: My Palm Is Thriving and So Am I
My palm has finally found its second wind! After repotting it into this soil mix, it truly came to life — the leaves became vibrant and firm, new growth appeared, and all of this happened within just a couple of weeks! The mix is perfectly balanced: light, breathable, with excellent drainage. Moisture doesn’t get trapped, the roots can breathe, and it’s clear the plant is thriving and grateful.
I was genuinely impressed by how quickly the mix started working — the results were visible almost immediately. It’s incredibly effective and clearly formulated with the needs of palm plants in mind.
I also want to mention how convenient and reliable the packaging is — sturdy, easy to use, and mess-free. The mix has no unpleasant smell at all, which is a big plus when working indoors. And most importantly, the quality absolutely matches the price — it’s a great value for such a high-performing product.

Great drainage for desert dwellers
This is really great soil for cacti and succulents. It is a good, more chunky texture that drains well so your plants do not get root rot. It is nice and fluffy. My succulents all did well when repotted with this soil. Pairs well with those water retaining crystals that they also make. The bag is pretty big and I will be able to repot and start many,many plants with the amount of soil that I got.

Works beautifully
First I love all Miracle Grow products. They Perform like no other. The mixtura and moisture will help you achieve success in growing beautiful plants. I just repotted my lemon tree from seeds. It's growing beatifully. The ease of using Miracle grow is so nice. Just pour some halfway in your favorite pot, then plant.

Perfect for My Succulents and Cactus Collection!
I’ve been using the Miracle-Gro Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Mix for several months, and it’s been a game-changer for my indoor succulents and cacti. The fast-draining formula really helps prevent overwatering issues, and I’ve noticed more vibrant blooms and healthier roots since switching to this mix.
I appreciate that it contains plant food that feeds for up to 6 months — it really takes the guesswork out of fertilizing. It’s ideal for container gardening, both indoors and outdoors, but not for in-ground use, so keep that in mind.
I repot my plants once a year as recommended, and this mix keeps them thriving all year long. If you love growing succulents, cacti, or even citrus indoors, I definitely recommend this potting mix.

Effective cactus potting soil
I have about 10 cactus plants, plus a couple lemon trees. The plants crave the nourishment from this potting soil.
The bag is very easy to carry. There is no odor when you open the bag.

Perfect for my cactus and succulents
I had some sacculents to plant and a couple of cacti. So this came in to test out just at the right time! The soil has no odor that I noticed, no large particles to pick out and fluffy to touch. It drains very well, which is what succulents and cacti require. I transplanted them about two weeks ago and all of them are doing wonderful. It’s definitely worth getting this mix for the most successful transplanting or even sprouting of new one from drop leaves. I plan on transplanting a couple more succulents and will definitely use this mix.
