DESCRIPTION
Take care of your unique flowers with a potting mix especially for them. Use Miracle-Gro® African Violet Potting Mix, blended for the specific needs of your African Violets. The mix feeds these plants for up to 6 months. For best results, use it with Miracle-Gro® Blooming Houseplant Food and when potting or repotting indoor or outdoor container plants. Grow big blossoms with brilliant color with Miracle-Gro®.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
- Select a pot with a drain hole.
- Fill pot about 1/3 full.
- Loosen root ball, place plant in pot.
- Add more mix and press lightly.
- Water; let drain.
For spectacular results, supplement the nutrients of this mix by using Miracle-Gro® Liquid African Violet Food. Follow package directions.

Beautiful flowers!
Planted my African Violet in this because I had no flowers. Now I have about twenty and have transplanted some leaves to attempt to grow more. So far so good.

Best African Violets mix
This is the only African Violet Mixture I use for my 15 African Violets. They do extremely well in this mix. Between my grown plants to my starts they are always thriving. They have the most beautiful blooms and bloom all year long, even in winter!!! Rule of thumb with AFV's always bottom water! Sometime I will actually add more perlite to the mix just because I like a really well drained soil but this mix doesn't need it, just plant and enjoy the beauty!

Love it
I use this soil for every single Houseplant I own I hope they never stop selling this potting mix. Parlor palm, Peperomia obtusifolia, peperomia pilea, pothos, dieffenbachia, watermelon peperomia, spider plant.
I use it for any plant that requires well draining soil.

Good specialty product (Sweepstakes Entry)
Admittedly, I am not as skilled or attentive with growing indoor plants as I am with outdoor plants... but with Miracle Gro African Violet Potting Mix, I don't have to be! I have found that this product works well, not only with the African violets on the window sill, but with other houseplants. Peace lily and pothos seem to thrive in it as well. So if you want a versatile and effective product, I would recommend it. (Sweepstakes Entry)

Sweepstakes essay.
When my husband came home from work one day, he had the most beautiful African Violet i've ever seen. The blossoms were huge. He had purchased it from a private grower. The grower suggested special potting soil for African Violets when it needed transplanted. I did this using Miracle-Gro and the plant went crazy with blooms. I've never seen so many or so large and it was because of the Miracle-Gro African Violet Potting Soil. I also bought the African Violet Plant Food. Everyone who came to our home raved about my violets. I started new plants from leaves and gave them as gifts.

Great African Violet Soil

African violets
My sister was moving and gave me her African violets. They didn't look very healthy so i got a bag of African Violet potting mix and used that instead of plain potting mix. Every plant perked up, they all look green and healthy, and they have been blooming over and over. Very happy with this product!
