Now I see a common trend, all the bad reviews are coming from people who bought this product from Costco... Now I have used your products before but not this, contact Costco and test out the product from there compared to Walmart and here

I'm not sure why they are absolutely so many people that seem to be employed as anti-miracle grow people but there sure are. Don't believe you're reviews. Use the product and you will be happy. I've read everything from it. Contains synthetic fertilizers to now this lol. Look at the product label and see if you find anything other than feathers and some other things in there. Seriously I don't work for these guys but who do all these negative reviewers work for? Or are they just kind of on one side politically and that whole side believes that because I see it on forums too when it comes to growing things. This anti-miracle grow technology like if you eat one of the fruits that you grow with it, you will die. The sad truth is I don't think they're getting paid by anybody. I really just think that they believe that and they just suck at gardening! They killed their plant and they want to blame miracle grow! It's pretty simple. Sometimes you're probably over dosing it with miracle-Gro because I found with every single product for at least 30 to 40 years. That if you follow the instructions and you use it the way it's supposed to be you will stand back and say wow but just like anything else. If you think more well means double the product next time then you're going to kill your stuff! It's all natural. Read the label! Five stars 100%

This is a great product. No worries about adding fertilizer it’s done for you. Rich potting soil.always check the date on the bag for freshness. Some stores may leave on shelf too long.

Great soil for indoor and outdoor plants

Works well for seed starting
I compared this product to my own homemade soil mix (from vermicompost, perlite and coco peat), to Fox Farm Ocean Forest, and to a local brand of soil mix I found at a local hydroponics soil. Oddly enough Miracle-Gro outperformed the other more expensive mixes. The homemade mix came in a close second, showing no differences after the initial germination period. Seeds grown in Miracle-Gro Organic germinated a little faster than the homemade mix but after all the seeds had germinated, there were no real differences. The other two mixes proved to be too heavy when wet and created problems for the seeds to emerge. The heaviness could be overcome by covering the seeds with vermiculite, and this too seemed to work well with Miracle-Gro Organic. I did, however, find that adding a little perlite to the mix improved it. It was unnecessary to add fertilizer to the mix; plants seems to thrive for the advertised two months before needing liquid feedings. I purchased my bag from either Home Depot or Orchard Supply. I did not notice any increase in gnats compared to any of the other mixes.
