DESCRIPTION
Help your plants get the water and the nutrients they need—with less work. The easy-to-use Miracle-Gro® Enriched Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss feeds plants for up to 3 months and absorbs water faster than baled peat moss. Plus, its unique water-holding capabilities help plants require less frequent watering.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
For Flower or Vegetable Gardens or Landscape Beds:
- Apply 2-3 inches of peat moss. Roto-till into native soil to a depth of 6 inches. Begin planting, follow planting instructions on plant tag or seed packet.
For Planting Trees, Shrubs and Roses:
- Dig a hole twice as wide but no deeper than the root ball of the plant. Mix the soil at rate of one part native soil to one part Miracle-Gro® Enriched Sphagnum Peat Moss. Build a mound in the hole so top of root ball is 1 to 2 inches above grade. Score root ball to encourage lateral spread. Backfill hole with amended soil.

Supreme product
The big surprise was how big this bag was when it arrived. I have found the consistency and texture to be flawless. It is well mixed and a pleasure to handle and work with. I have used it in plantings with potting soil, in my compost area and in my transplanting jobs. It works very well with seed plantings as well in that it holds moisture so well. Also, it has plant food built in so all-in-all it is a superior product.

Great consistency
I used to buy the large bales of peat moss. Since they were dry and compressed, moistening the peat was a chore. Not so, with the Miracle-Gro Sphagnum Peat Moss... it absorbed water quickly and easily.
I really like the fact that the peat moss contains Miracle-Gro Plant Food. You can see tiny spheres of the fertilizer throughout the mix. The bag is a good size for the home gardener. I mixed some of this into patio pots and into the garden soil as well, and I think it is a great quality product.

Great to lighten and enrich heavy soils
This is a great amendment to lighten my heavily compacted clay soil improving its texture and consistency. This peat manages water more efficiently and will keep other vital nutrients from leaching out of the soil, too.
