Salad with Green Goddess Dressing

Time to put those fresh garden greens to use by making a nutritious salad complete with a delightful green goddess dressing.

Salad with Green Goddess Dressing


1 ½ cups mayo

¼ cup sour cream

1 cup basil

1 cup parsley

1 cup cilantro

½ cup chives

½ cup dill

½ cup tarragon

¼ jalapeño minced (optional)

¼ cup young lemongrass (optional)

3 garlic cloves

Juice of 1 lemon

1 soft avocado, pit and peel removed (optional)

1 tsp anchovy paste

½ tsp Kosher salt

½ tsp Black Pepper


1. In a blender simply combine all the ingredients and blend into a smooth dressing.

2. In a large cold bowl, spoon a few dollops of dressing into the bowl and gently toss in your garden greens and garnishes

3. Fun garnishes are sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, chickpeas, hard-boiled eggs, sliced peppers, a few pickles and chopped cooked bacon, any or all work!

4. Alternatively, this dressing is a perfect dip for raw vegetables, potato chips, or as a slather to top grilled steak, chicken, or fish.
