Easy to pack and spread, plants are thriving
This seed starting soil works great! I don't plant regularly so the instructions on the packaging were very straightforward and extremely helpful for me. I love the consistency and mix of the soil, it's very easy to pack and spread. Even with how dry the weather has been recently, I can tell when we water that the soil is helping our plants thrive. I'd definitely recommend this!

I got this dirt.
From scotsmiracle grow i like it's very moist, not dry dirt. I used it on my plants for inside in out side.

Soft and fluffy for those baby seedlings roots to push and grow nice and strong through. Absorbing water easily to keep moist. Great starting dirt for all types of seedlings. I was very happy with how great the quality is because there were no chunky pieces. This was all light fluffy soil.

Really great product!
This Miracle Gro seed starting potting mix is really great. It's good for seed starting as well as planting cuttings, which is what I have done. I like that it already has plant food in the soil. It holds moisture well and my plant is doing excellent! I will also be trying it with seeds as well. I know and trust this brand and I highly recommend this product for seed starting or cuttings.

Perfect for seedlings, and transplanting!
I planted my first veggie garden this year and started all my seeds in this. I mixed with 70% this, 20% coco coir, and 10% earthworm castings for a mighty mix that started a ton of my veggies. They all grew healthy and produced a lot of veggies. I also used it to start some flower seeds that have produced an abundance of flowers. Definitely recommend it for starting seeds. It did have some small pieces of twigs.

Miracle -Gro is always my first choice when I do any planting. This Miracle-Gro seed starting potting mix was perfect for getting some starter plants going. The soil is very good quality and helps get my plants off to the best start for maturing & staying healthy.

Soils works great
The soil is a great way to start your garden from seeds. When I receive this I planted a couple of pumpkin seeds with this soils as well as another potting mix that I had. The plants sprouted faster and seemed to be healthier.

Wonderful potting mix!
I really like this Miracle-Gro® Seed Starting Potting Mix! It comes in an easy to open bag that also has detailed information on the back that is also easy to open! It was also easy to pour as well. I really enjoy using it with my plants as it seems to help them grow and thrive! I highly recommend this potting mix!

The Miracle -Gro deed starter is amazing, it's a lightweight nutrient enriched soil that boosts my seedlings growth. This is one product I never go without when I'm starting my garden. You. An see all the nutrients in the soil and I've been able to double my vegetable plants with this.

Quality Potting Mix in perfect size bag.
Item arrived well packaged. The soil is a quality potting mix and did not contain filler. After pre-moisting the soil, it was easy to fill the seed trays. I added a dome cover to the trays, after 2 days, several seeds started to germinate. I used a mister to keep the seeds moist and after 6 days I had 100% germination. Very pleased with the potting mix.

Amazing growth
I am incredibly pleased with this seed starting soil. I have had a couple of transplants that I have wanted to repot and make a new home for. The soil is exactly what I needed. Everyone immediately looks so happy in the new pots that I decided I was going to move over some of my larger plants that are growing like wild. I really like that the soil is light and has all of the active ingredients needed to make my plants happy. Highly recommend. Love Miracle Gro

Rooting made simple
I have a house plant that has proven difficult to root with adding rooting hormone. I had some clippings that I broke off of the plant and put them in a glass of water. After about two weeks they still hadn't rooted. I got some seed starting potting mix and followed the directions on the package. Two weeks later the clipping in the potting mix look better than the plant they came from. I will definitely use this product again. I highly recommend it for this application.

I love Miracle-Gro Seed starting potting mix when starting my vegetables and flower seeds. Seeds sprout quickly and easily when using this mix. My plants look strong and healthy and are soon ready to plant in the ground in larger pots. I've come to count on Miracle Gro for all my potting needs.

miracle gro seed starting mix is great for me. i used to start my lemon sampling from seeds and it helps these germinate faster. it promote quicker germination provides weather and other conditions are favorable. Also, I have used it in a herb plant which is kind of dying, it helps review that plant too.

This miracle grow seeds starting soil is absolutely amazing! I used it with my kids to start growing some tomato seeds, cilantro, and cucumbers. They all started sprouting within a couple of days. You can definitely tell this is the high quality soil with all the nutrients needed to start the growth of a new plant. I definitely recommend!

Excellent Start for Healthy Seedlings!
I've used a lot of different seed starting mixes over the years, but Miracle-Gro's Seed Starting Potting Mix really stands out. The texture is light and fluffy, which makes it super easy for seeds to germinate and roots to grow without resistance. I noticed faster sprouting and stronger seedlings compared to other brands.

Great lightweight soil
The bag of soil was surprisingly light when I picked it up which was indicative of the density. It seems like this would be good to allow the seeds to gain some traction in order to get your seeds started.

Reliable Fertile Base Every Time
I grow Shelby Oat Grass to aid my cats’ digestion. In order to keep the grass fresh and edible, I plant seeds weekly in pots. I use Scott’s Seed Starting Potting Mix for a reliable base & it does a great job every time.

Repotting with my aunt
My aunt and I love to get together and work in the yard and we've been doing so since I was a little girl and we repotted so many beautiful plants from inside of the house with this soil it's so soft it has no overwhelming smell the water and The Roots took to it instantly I love Miracle-Gro products they just make any type of gardening or botany enjoyable

Couldn't be happier with it for starting seeds.
"I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion" I used this potting mix to start Cosmos seedlings. I am happy that the mix is very clean, comfortable for me handling it with bare hands. Its embedded fertilizer works as advertised, the seeds grew steadily indoor under LED grow-light bulbs . Here in the High Desert of California are Jan/Feb 2025, it is still a little cooler in the AM. Compared to other products, this mix compacts itself more and more with each watering. And in my opinion it does not drain well after while. Just need to keep the phenomenon in mind when you plan your seedling work, (not insurmountable). In summary, can't be happier with it for starting seeds.

A good start
Used this to start basil that I purchased at the grocery store and it really kept it going. I also did spider plant and pothos starts in it and they went like gang busters! I would use this in my spring seed trays.

Good starter soil
This is a quality soil for starting seedlings. High nutrient content with Miracle-Gro already in the mix. Takes a little time to get it to absorb the water but just be patient and add water slowly and everything will be fine.

Miracle seed starter dirt
I recieved this miracle grow seed starter dirt to try and review. The dirt is light weight with a nice amount of fertilizer in it. It makes it easy for the seeds to start and root to grow. The bag i got is a good amount to start alot of seeds. Good product that i will keep buying.
