DESCRIPTION

Your plants need the right ingredients for a beautiful beginning. Help them start strong with Miracle-Gro® Seed Starting Potting Mix. This mix is enriched with Miracle-Gro® Plant Food and is specially formulated for fast root development. It is excellent when starting from seed or starting plants with leaf, stem or root cuttings. Use it in containers, and get your plants growing faster with Miracle-Gro®.

For Seed Starting

  1. Select a shallow container with a drain hole.
  2. Fill container.
  3. Plant seeds according to package directions.
  4. Water; let drain.
  5. Keep moist and out of direct sunlight.


For Establishing Cuttings

  1. Fill container with Miracle-Gro® Seed Starting Potting Mix.
  2. Water thoroughly.
  3. Make holes with a pencil.
  4. Insert cuttings, pressing mix around stems.
  5. Keep moist and out of direct sunlight.
  6. For spectacular results when transplanting, remember to use Miracle-Gro Quick Start Plant Food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MG Seed STARTING Mix doesn't STOP there! Honestly, I did not use this mix to start seeds, at least not yet, I know it will perform for seeds.I used it to start clippings! I have tried multiple times to 'start' Grocery Store THYME with no luck. Now, after using the MG Starter Mix I have success, 8 thyme cuttings doing well, indirect sun and 100f+ days. I will transplant soon and have plenty of 'TIME' for other things! Thanks, SCOTTS..

They started from seeds from my local stand and have grown beautifully in the time they've been planted. I have basil, mint, and oregano and all are coming along lovely.
